In-Campaign
At the Battle of the Trident Barristan lead the vanguard against the rebels’ western flank. His sworn brother Jonothor acted as his second in command while Ser Ardin rode in the cavalry. Their maneuver was met by reserve forces commanded by Jardon Pyke. Barristan was wounded in the battle.

During the receiving of gifts after the wedding of Robert and Cersei Barristan stood vigil. When Teddy and Ronnel presented the king with their gift, a live shadowcat, Barristan led the beast from the Iron Throne by a velvet rope around its neck.
