Kiril had been born into slavery in Norvos, and was eventually trained by the bearded priests as a slave soldier, but when he was 18, Kiril escaped and hid in the mountains. It is here he would become good friends with Joakim Uritsky off and on throughout the years. Joakim took in Kiril as a part of his caravan when Kiril escaped. Kiril was grateful and paid back his stays by training other people in the camp, coordinating with Samara Kulik. . Kiril took after most of the training of Lena Mosin and Lina Mosin, although supplemented with some from Samara. Whereas, Samara trained mostly Vesna.

After initially joining Joakim’s Caravan, Kiril ended up meeting up with Viktor Al-Tem and joining the Joyful Few. He liked the fact that he could use his skills for more than just defending the caravan. He ended up serving with the Joyful Few for ten years before returning to the Joakim’s caravan.

It is a bit of an inside joke with some of the people from the Caravan that have known Kiril for the long, that they never knew he “had the fire in his veins” (red hair). When Kiril had escaped he was completely bald, so Samara and Joakim placed a bet of what color his hair was, they both lost…….
