Maude had been a painter at Snownook for many years before she shared her work with anyone. Preferring a solitary lifestyle, to better focus on her work, many may have forgotten that she was even in House Jasper’s employ! Perhaps buoyed, or threatened, by the opening of the Bardic College, she began to share her work in 288AC. Many pieces can now be viewed about the castle.
