Russell is a tall man, who speaks the common tongue with a unique accent, one that appears to be a mixture of accents from the Free Cities. In combat he swings a mace, a weapon plundered from a knight that he killed in the Disputed Lands when serving with the Second Sons. His purple eyes suggest Valyrian heritage, though that is not uncommon in the Disputed Lands.
