Jasport

Barely a hamlet, Jasport is a cluster of shacks, huts, and shanties northeast of Castle Snownook. Most of the inhabitants draw their livings from the sea, as the soil is too rocky to support crops so far from ‘the knuckle’. Most are fisherfolk but there is also men skilled in shipwrighting and women who weave nets. The small collection of wooden docks is askew and is protected from the Narrow Sea by a small rock jetty. The land once belonged to House Jasper, as the name suggests, but as the house’s power dwindled lawlessness rose. A long dead lord Jasper ceded Jasport and its people to their liege, House Arryn.
