Description
The shield is of a round design and made of bronze. It is ringed by the runes of the First Men.

Known History
A party from House Jasper recovered the shield from the ruined Shell Fort in 282 AC. Maester Thaddeus carried the shield for years after, hoping to find a translation of the runes.
